New President, Board Election Result & Paper Awards given at 34th ISB
The IBS is pleased to announce that Markus Graswald was elected as the President of the IBS. Frederik Coghe continues as the Secretary of the IBS and Clive Woodley continues as Treasurer. The IBS is also pleased to announce the results of the Board Election. In alphabetical order, the following were elected or re-elected to the Board: Don Carlucci, Sidney Chocron, Markus Graswald and Thelma Manning. They will all serve up to 3 terms. Thanks to everybody who voted and sympathies with the unsuccessful candidates. Sidney Chocron and Clive Woodley were promoted to Ballistic Science Fellow. The 35th ISB will be taking place in Cape Town, South Africa, during 18-23 October, 2026.

35th International Symposium on Ballistics
The IBS is pleased to announce the 35th ISB will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, South Africa, during 18-23 October 2026. Set those dates in your diaries now! The symposium chair will be Thanyani Pandelani with co-chair Tleyane Sono. Congratulations to them and to the South African Ballistics Organisation (SABO) which submitted an excellent proposal.
